Okay... not harping on TAPS or wanting to start a war at Christmas but one of our friends sent us a link to this video response to his controversial breakdown of the TAPS Halloween special.

Watching the video makes me think of several things. First, these kids are smarter than most adults. These kids are smarter than most "professional ghost hunters" that are our there. Sad huh? It's also sad to see that TAPS is officially in "hero" status. They are good role models I guess, but then again as a parent I would not allow my children to have hero's that are on a sci-fi reality TV series, if they wanted to,I would find out why. But, that's just me I guess, I may be the paranormal parent here. As for kids growing up wanting to be on the TAPS team, this is strange to me. Now, she did say she would have another job, but It's alarming to me that society is this way, TV is the influence but being a doctor, astronaut and so on are a thing of the past. Has TAPS successfully segregated the community within the general public with the impression that "they" are the only legitimate team in the entire world? So, in closing, I am looking forward to the responses about this video. We have NO connection with these kids so don't even go there. As with all of the "ghost divas" none of our children are on youtube with profiles and we would not allow it, mainly because there are perverts out there. So, what do you think? From the mouths of babes or strong parental influence?
PS- Those that left nasty comments on our parody of the "jacket tugging" do not go and post bullshit comments to these kids they are innocent, cursing them and calling them every name in the book like you did with us.. we know who you are.(some of you) and your true colors will shine bright in your ignorant and utterly closed mind.

i am SOOO glad there are smart kids out there who are seeing this stuff for what it is. (media bullshit) even fantasy-loving children are telling it like it is. it sucks that they had their hopes in their "heroes" dashed, but there you go.
i do have to point out that my kid walks through the room whenever a paranormal show is on and says "why are you watching this crap?"

I wonder if the TAPs crew will make a statement - admit it?
But I have a feeling that there is too much money to lose if thats the case.
My son LOVED the Ghost Hunters, he's 4. We loved to watch the show till the Halloween show. Now I have trouble just tossing on an Episode that's on the DVR for him. Amazing how they can jade fans by trying to sensationalize something. Man them and some college kids should get together and do a joint show...
It would almost be better for them to come out and say, Sorry we did it, it was for the live show only and we won't do it again. Give some respectability back in the show.
